The department offers separate programs in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In each program, the Master of Science, M.S. and the Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., degrees are granted. Students are accepted for Spring or Fall admission. Subject to certain limitations, students may undertake their program on a full- or part-time basis. Complete Graduate Manual (February 2008) NOTE¡ªthe major recent change in this manual from the last version is in the Ph.D. qualifier. The academic year 2007-08 will be a transition year, with both formats being offered. In future years, only the new Qualifier format will be offered. (See Appendix A, p.23, for the new format.)
