Currently: I am working on my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design and Optimization.

Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Anna University

I picked UB because it provides a healthy combination of studies and recreation. The ambience of the university is ideally suited for a person who enjoys outdoor activities, sports, and academics. The MAE program emphasizes a lot of importance on research and gives students current technological know-how. The courses offered are also well balanced, keeping in mind both research interests and industrial applications. After getting my masters I would like to work for a few years, applying my skills in a manufacturing unit. I also plan to come back to UB for an MBA after a few years.

Buffalo has both summer and winter activities. I’ve been fortunate to live in Buffalo during both seasons. The nightlife around the Buffalo-Niagara is also pretty good.
