Compulsory Advisement for Graduating B.S. Students

Congratulations on nearly completing your degree requirements!

Each year we have a mandatory advisement period for Juniors during preregistration for their Senior year. So - if you expect to finish your degree requirements in 2010 or February 2011, you must see your advisor by April 15, 2009, and complete an Advisement Form, including your signature and your advisor's signature. Make sure that:

  • You meet with your advisor before April 15th.
  • You and your advisor sign off on the Advisement Form. Return the form to Ms. Donna George in 311 Furnas. If you have particular General Education issues, you may also want to (or be asked to) have one of the 410 Bonner advisement staff review your program and complete our General Education Advisement Form.

The purpose of this process is to be sure that you are well aware of remaining course requirements and that there are no surprises for you as you near the end of your program. The MAE Advisement Forms are available in racks outside of the MAE Department Office in 309 Furnas Hall, they may also be found online below.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration in MAE 451 is limited to students who have completed Compulsory Advisement. After you have submitted your Advisement Form (and your Prerequisite Confirmation Form), Donna George will register you into MAE 451 at your request.
